I’m at home. I’m pretty well. Just finished practicing some drumming with my mom, and trying to brainstorm a new entry for the gyopo blog.
Re: Why do you make art?
I shoot photos because I like having something that helps me remember how I felt at a certain place and time. I share photos and video projects because I like the fulfillment of having made a product, and seeing how people react to it. I draw to challenge myself.I’m still trying to figure out why I make music, but I think a big reason is because it allows me to connect with people, in a variety of ways: as a fellow performer, teacher, student, listener, or a combination of these things. I also like the connection I feel between myself and the composer/context of a piece.
